Music lovers and foodies unit over the weekend at the 626 Night Market in Arcadia, CA. The event featured various food options from fusions, to seafood, sweet treats, boba galore, and so much more! To add to the fun, MYX held TFW Music Festival (That Feeling When), a two-day concert which featured Asian artists like:
The crowd that gather ranged from friends, family, to anyone who appreciated music. Each day brought on its own vibe and nostalgia from Jeremy Passion performing an R&B medley that brought us back to the early 2000s to the unofficial Fil-Am anthem, "Lemonade." Hearing these performers who many looked up to growing up, brought back such good memories but also allowed fans to see what new music their favorite artists have recently released.
EAJ brought the house down who his mellow, but also energetic performance. He came down from the main stage to party with the crowd. It was a sight to see! Joyce Wrice brought the dance moves to her set and got the crowd going.
Day 2 was just as hyped with the openers Demxntia, Jamieboy, and Sarah Kang setting the tone for a great night of music! Justin Park also pulled up with a set that got everyone grooving along and excited to see P-Lo.
Kuya P-Lo gave SoCal a glimpse of hyphy with the tunes "Same Squad" and "Put Me on Somethin'." The mascot he brought on stage was one of the highlights of the set as it flaunted the Bay Area style proudly.
Closing out the show was Umi who literally brought out the good vibes not only on stage, but shared it with TFW. From singing originals to covers, Umi also got to know a few lucky people by asking them questions and taking photos during her performance. One thing that sets her apart as a performer is her way of taking everything graciously. Her mic cut out during the cover of "Best Part" by Daniel Ceasar feat. H.E.R. and she rolled with her. The crowd helped her out by singing the song until her mic got fix but she loved the crowd singing back to her.
If you weren't able to make it, you'll have to watch out for more events happening in the near future like the 1MX Music Festival happening in Toronto, Canada on Sunday, September 10! More music from artists like Ben&Ben, thuy, Guapdad 4000, BGYO, and many more! Grab your tickets now!
