Asa Miller will be representing the Philippines in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China. The 21-year-old skier was born in Oregon with family roots in Sta. Cruz, Manila, and this will be his second Olympic appearance. Miller took to Instagram to announce that he will be competing in the Slalom and Giant Slalom events.
Miller was 8 years old when he participated in his first race as a skier. His hard work and dedication led him to his Olympic debut back in 2018, also representing the Philippines as a dual-citizen. In 2018 Miller was the country’s flag bearer and will do so again in the 2022 Winter Games.
