IV of Spades frontman Zild has just dropped the first single off of his upcoming third solo album. Aesthetically, “Isang Anghel” draws inspiration from the singer/songwriter’s favorite international and local musical acts. Most importantly, he says that the song’s lyrics draw on a deeper and distinctly Filipino tradition of romantic lyricism dating all the way back to Jose Rizal.
The accompanying music video features Zild in a full emo-influenced visual. Both the artist and his supporting cast are donning all black themed outfits, socks as arm accessories, makeup, similar styled hair, and more. Watch the music video below!
