Two different Filipino singers from different parts of the world competed on The Voice and experienced the same show-stopping result of all judges turning for them during blind auditions! Meet Joy Esquivias of The Voice Germany and Kaylee Shimizu of The Voice (USA).
Esquivias, a 25-year-old singer who traces her roots originally to the Philippines before moving to Germany, impressed the judges and live audience with her performance of Clean Bandit's and Zara Larsson's "Symphony." Watch her rendition below.
Shimizu, who is a Filipino-American singer from Hawaii, also shut down her blind audition at The Voice. She performed a rendition of The Beatles - “Golden Slumbers” by The Beatles.
