She started in a range of television series and films, including Wansapanataym (2011), Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo (2012), She's the One (2013), Must Be... Love (2013). She rose to prominence after playing the protagonist in the romantic comedy television series Forevermore (2014–2015) with Enrique Gil. When it comes to the supernatural, the cops have Alexanda Trese on speed dial. Set in Manila and based on the award-winning Filipino comic, TRESE on Netflix will bring horror folklore like you've never heard before.

"Trese," based on the graphic novel of the same name created by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldissimo, is among the anime series Netflix out on June 11, 2021. Protagonist Alexandra Trese goes head to head with a criminal underworld comprised of supernatural beings in this story set in Manila,‎ Netflix said in a statement. "Trese" is one of 17 new original productions from Asia that will be out on Netflix soon.
