The youthful and energetic P-pop boy group AJAA is having the biggest year of their career yet. Fresh off their sold-out first major solo concert at the SM North EDSA Skydome, Ash, JC, Axl, and Alex added another milestone just two days later after being announced as one of the interpreters for Eurovision Asia.
With 4:ÜS, AJAA doubles down on what they do best—bright, youthful, and irresistibly catchy pop. Proving there’s more to the group than just feel-good hooks and signature bubblegum sound, the album also shows glimpses of growth.
6. ‘Kapit’
This song hit differently after the concert.
JC and Ash were already emotional during the album listening session, but seeing them perform “Kapit” through tears at the end of their concert made the song even more meaningful. While the production is upbeat enough to make you nod along, the lyrics tell the story of AJAA’s journey and the bond they’ve built with Hanies. We just know an acoustic version would absolutely wreck us.
5. ‘Kakabakaba’
The concert performance alone deserves this spot.
That dance break? Insane. The choreography is one of AJAA’s strongest yet (props to JC!), and it elevated the song to another level live. Now we’re just waiting for the music video because this one deserves a full visual moment.
4. ‘Ako Na’
A certified AJAA classic.
Despite being released back in 2025, “Ako Na” still feels right at home on 4:US. It’s playful, infectious, and has everything that made fans fall in love with the group in the first place. Once that chorus kicks in, good luck trying not to sing—or dance—along.
3. ‘Game Over’
The sleeper hit.
This one gets stuck in your head fast. Beneath its bright, colorful production is actually a song about longing for another chance. It’s AJAA’s signature cheerful energy wrapped around a surprisingly emotional message. If you’re going to yearn, you might as well do it while dancing.
2. ‘Freaky’
The biggest surprise on the album.
“Freaky” feels like AJAA stepping outside their comfort zone, and absolutely pulling it off. It’s sleeker, more performance-driven, and carries an energy that reminds us of NCT DREAM’s Go and Glitch Mode era. The production is polished, the choreography is ridiculously satisfying to watch, and the boys deliver it with confidence. More of this, please.
1. ‘Lala Na’
Our favorite track on 4:ÜS.
“Lala Na” perfectly captures the feeling of summer. From the first listen, you can almost hear the waves crashing and feel the sea breeze. It’s tropical, carefree, and effortlessly fun without trying too hard. It’s the kind of song you blast on a beach road trip with the windows down. AJAA, if you’re reading this, we need a performance video filmed by the beach. It’s only right.
With a sold-out concert, Eurovision Asia on the horizon, and a promising year ahead, 4:ÜS is the beginning of an even bigger chapter for AJAA. They understood the assignment. And if this is just the beginning of what Ash, JC, Axl, and Alex have in store, then we’ll gladly hit replay.
