P-pop group ALAMAT is set to reach another milestone as they become the first P-pop act to perform in France, joining the lineup of the inaugural The A Festival in Paris this October.
The six-member group will represent the Philippines at the two-day celebration of Asian entertainment, scheduled for October 24 and 25 at the Paris Event Center. Their appearance marks a significant moment not only for the group but also for the growing global presence of P-pop, with ALAMAT becoming the first act from the genre to take the stage in the European country.
The announcement comes after a busy run of performances for the group, including their sold-out concert in Dubai, their opening performance at OPM Con Generations, and their recent appearance at Binibining Pilipinas.
Organizers describe The A Festival as a gathering that aims to unite fans of Asian entertainment through music, culture, and interactive experiences. The event will feature live performances, artist appearances, conferences, games, and other activities designed to introduce audiences to artists from across Asia.
ALAMAT joins an international roster of performers announced for the festival. The Philippines becomes the third country represented in the lineup, alongside Thailand, South Korea, and China. Also set to perform are Thai acts JASP.ER, Ironboy, and TOBII, South Korean group TRENDZ and THE BOYZ member Jacob, as well as Chinese singer-songwriter and producer SUNNY LUKAS.
In announcing the group’s participation, festival organizer Envol Production highlighted ALAMAT’s distinct musical identity and cultural influence.
“ALAMAT brings a fresh vision of Asian pop, seamlessly blending P-pop, hip-hop, R&B and dance with the languages, stories and cultural heritage of the Philippines. The result is a unique musical identity that is proudly Filipino while resonating with audiences around the world,” Envol Production said.
The festival offers three ticket tiers for attendees. General Admission passes are priced at €99 for a one-day pass and €159 for a weekend pass, granting access to concerts and festival activities. GA Premium passes, priced at €149 for one day and €249 for the weekend, include priority access to the front standing area for a closer concert experience. Meanwhile, GA Platinum passes cost €199 for a one-day ticket and €349 for a weekend pass, providing assigned seating on an elevated viewing platform in addition to all festival access.
As P-pop continues to expand beyond Asia, ALAMAT’s participation in The A Festival signals another breakthrough for the genre on the international stage. Their upcoming performance in Paris is expected to introduce more European audiences to Filipino music while showcasing the group’s signature blend of modern pop and Philippine culture.
The A Festival will take place on October 24 and 25 at the Paris Event Center, with tickets currently available through the event’s official ticketing platform.
