Battle 416 comes from Battle Canada which aims to bring a community together through basketball. The event raises funds for kids in need through the game while creating an outdoor basketball experience in various cities. Battle 416 began in partnership with the Philippine Independence Day Council (PIDC) and the Mabuhay Philippines Festival. The event was meant to highlight the deep-rooted love of basketball by Filipinos around the world. The initial tournament garnered unprecedented attention to the festival and attracted an audience previously unfamiliar with the event.

Now, their audience has expanded to all age ranges with an array of cultural backgrounds. From outdoor battle events to live music and entertainment for days, it has established a strong following and developed community leaders, advocates, and ambassadors supporting all activities. Coming up soon, catch King Handles, Bone Collector, Fashion 4 Cause, Dunk 4 Cause, Music 4 Cause starting August 8 through August 14th at Yonge-Dundas Square.
