For many of us, food is life. Who else does a little happy dance when eating their favorite meal, we know we do! The Kapamilya actress, Francine Diaz is gearing up to star in her first solo-lead film, Bola Bola exclusively for iWant TFC. This project marks her first acting venture without the Gold Squad as she stars as Thea, a plus-size woman who considers food as her greatest love and something that never disappoints. Check out the first trailer for the film, hitting the streaming waves later this month!

The trailer shows Thea navigating her love for food and herself. She is a confident individual for the most part, but one tough rejection by her crush Lucas, played by BGYO member Akira Morishito presents self-doubt. Thea is determined to move pass the embarrassing encounter and seek out an outward transformation. In the process of transforming her physical appearance, did Thea also learn how to be kinder and transform her inner self?

Bola Bola also stars Analain Salvador as Thea's BFF and KD Estrada, Ashton Salvador, Akira Morishito as Francine's leading men. Based on the book by Anna Geronga, Bola Bola is directed by JP Habac and will be available this March 26 on iWantTFC.
