"3 Nights" artist Dominic Fike is taking his stab at acting. He'll be starring in Season 2 of the Emmy nominated HBO Max series, Euphoria alongside Zendaya. Drake who's a producer of the show posted the trailer for the new season and it looks like Rue has her work cut out. Mark your calendars for the premiere on January 9th.
There's loads of the cast coming back this season. Those returning are Storm Reid, who plays Rue's little sister, Sydney Sweeney, Barbie Ferreira, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Angus Cloud, and Maude Apatow. The new faces we'll see popping through are Minka Kelly, Demetrius "lil Feech" Flenory Jr., and Dominic Fike.
Fike's character is a fellow "degenerate"/homie to Rue (Zendaya) and Jules, played by Hunter Schafer. Will we be seeing the duo of Rue and Jules become a trio? Fike told Variety that they're some of the nicest people and super funny. His character also reminds him of his younger self, “I don’t have to do much acting. He’s exactly like me. It’s shit I would say and shit I would do.”
Details about the upcoming season has been kept on the down low. Show runner Sam Levinson told Hollywood Reporter there's a lot to unpack on Rue, "I think that there's a lot more to delve into and unpack in terms of the effects of addiction on Rue and on her family and those around her." We're all excited to see how it all unfolds and if you need to catch up, check out Season 1 on now streaming on HBO Max.
