Clara Benin celebrates the release of her sophomore studio album with a major concert happening at the Music Museum on September 22, 2023 (Friday), from 8pm onwards. Aptly titled ‘befriending my tears, a Clara Benin concert,’ the show chronicles Benin’s journey as an artist coming to terms with self-acceptance and healing while showcasing musical maturity through years of experience and growth.
“Headlining my concert at the Music Museum feels incredibly exciting and a bit nerve-wracking,” the Filipino singer-songwriter shares. “I think that the venue's classic charm and quality acoustics make it the perfect place to perform my new album! I really want my fans to be comfortable and fully immersed in my music, so choosing a seated venue was very important to me.” ‘befriending my tears, a Clara Benin concert’ serves as her second major show after staging a sold-out, two-night residency at Teatrino Greenhills in 2016. Finally! Bruno Mars is coming back to the Philippines! Last week, Live Nation Philippines announced that Mars will be rocking out the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on June 24. According to the event company’s website, ticket prices for the one night spectacle start at P2,750 (Upper Box C) and range up until P18,750 (Floor.)
This marks the fourth time that the critically acclaimed Filipino singer will be performing in the Philippines, with his last show dating back to 2018. The upcoming concert of Filipino rock icons, the Eraserheads, will be their last in the Philippines as confirmed by the producers.
“This will be the last reunion of the group that’s why we want to give the fans one last epic show,” Francis Lumen, one of the producers of the concert and president of WEU, said. Diane Ventura, one of the co-producers of the concert and manager of lead vocalist Ely Buendia, confirmed saying “this is indeed the last reunion.”
The show was aptly dubbed as Huling El Bimbo, signaling that it is the group’s finalperformance. The tickets sold out after four days from its initial release, moving the producers to expand the capacity of the venue to accommodate more concert goers.

Because we love our fans, we want to give them something different here. It’s the beginning of a new chapter in our lives and we also want them to have a special memory of Eraserheads as we move forward.”

The concert marks the first show in years that the artist is staging as a full-set solo concert. He is known for his hits like “Umaaraw, Umuulan”, “Your Universe”, “Yugto” and more.

Get to know more about SAB in this MYXclusive as she reflects about her journey so far and talks about her debut EP "Sunsets and Heaven." SAB just celebrated her first anniversary in the industry with a digital concert and had special guests who joined her on Facebook and Kumu live. She also shared how she's been balancing her time between school, music, and hobbies like watching anime.
As a fresh incoming artist, she was most surprised by how she improved on stage presence because of her chill and easygoing personality. Although live music and performances were put on hold for the last year and a half, SAB grew into herself as an artist. With that comes her debut EP Sunsets and Heaven, which spurred from a Kumu livestream where she asked the viewers to throw out words and SAB would create a song with it on the spot. What was a fun segment she did turned into the title track and the name of her EP. According to SAB, it just felt right so she went for it.
