Fresh off a powerful collab focused on mental health with Kiana V and Nix Damn P, Curtismith switches things up on "Night Run." The Filipino artist, known to be eclectic and experimental with his ever evolving sound, stays true to his reputation on his latest hybrid genre melodic release. "Night Run" is a collaboration with producer Xavi Panlilio released under new imprint Pool Records.

We caught up with Curtismith who shared an exclusive statement on his latest single with us here at MYX. He explained: "I wrote Night Run to paint a picture of what an easy love might look like. With all the uncertainty of relationships these days, i believe a healthy relationship is when both parties are ready to commit emotionally and mentally. This song tries to capture the perspective of one of the parties in that potential relationship."

Kiana V, Nix Damn P, & Curtismith just dropped a banger about mental health. On “I Want To Be Here,” the three iconic Filipino music acts teamed up with KonsultaMD as part of the telehealth service’s latest mental health campaign. The song is meant to serve as a reminder to listeners that they are not alone in their mental health journey and that it’s okay to ask for help.

Kiana shared some thoughts on her vision for the song: “I think with being like a singer and a songwriter, I can only write the song. I can’t really tell how it’s gonna be received or perceived. It’s a gift from us to everyone but my hope is that even if it’s just one person, it helps that one person. The goal is more, but one is better than none.”

Nix also shared his feelings on working with Kiana V and Curtismith: “Working with them is so easy! We’re all really close friends, so I know them. I’m also a fan of theirs before working with them. The only challenge really was not being physically together while working on the project. But overall, it was smooth and it was super fun.”
