Hip-hop rhythms, Filipino pride, and Pacquiao power electrify the day at Las Vegas' ultimate poolside hotspot.
Las Vegas, NV – July 13, 2025 – Filipino-American hip-hop sensation EZ Mil is set to make his highly anticipated Las Vegas Strip debut with a daytime performance at Daylight Beach Club on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The event, part of the venue's Soaked Saturdays series, coincides with a monumental weekend for the Filipino community, as boxing legend Manny Pacquiao takes on Mario Barrios in a welterweight title fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena the same night. This convergence of Filipino talent on the global stage underscores a celebration of cultural pride and empowerment, drawing fans from across the U.S. and the Philippines.
Doors open at 11 a.m., with EZ Mil delivering his signature blend of multilingual rap and hard-hitting beats, including fan favorites like "Up Down" and "Panalo (Trap Carino)." Joining him is DJ E-Rock, spinning an open-format set to keep the energy high at this premier Las Vegas dayclub. Daylight Beach Club, known for its 50,000-square-foot poolside paradise with a 4,400-square-foot main pool, private VIP pools, and luxurious cabanas, offers the perfect backdrop for this daytime hip-hop extravaganza.
"EZ Mil's debut on the Las Vegas Strip is a milestone not just for him, but for Filipino artists breaking barriers worldwide," said Scott Diel, Marketing Director at Daylight Beach Club. "Paired with Manny Pacquiao's fight, this weekend is a powerful showcase of Filipino excellence. We're thrilled to host EZ and create an unforgettable experience for fans."
EZ Mil, the Eminem-signed rapper who has amassed millions of streams and a devoted following with his raw storytelling and cultural fusion, represents the new wave of Filipino empowerment in music. His performance at Daylight aligns with Pacquiao's return to the ring, creating a dual celebration of Filipino heritage and achievement that resonates deeply with both American-born Filipinos and those from the islands.

EZ Mil is back with a new freestyle! For his latest release under Shady Records, the Filipino rapper spits a freestyle over D-Block Europe's hit song "Pakistan," titled "New York." According to the song's intro, the track is loosely inspired by a true story and its content displays the lyrical prowess that earned EZ Mil a co-sign from rap royalty like Dr. Dre and Eminem. Watch the music video below!
In additional EZ Mil news, the rapper also makes a cameo in Eminem's newest music video for "Houdini." It looks like Slim Shady is gearing up to drop a new project and this has us wondering if we'll be hearing a collab between the master and his protégé!
EZ Mil has just added another milestone to his growing list of career accomplishments! The 25-year-old Filipino rapper was featured in the Forbes Asia “30 Under 30” list in the Entertainment & Sports category. The rapper is one of seven Filipinos included in the list, and the other included names are: Backscoop cofounder Amanda Cua, Parallax cofounder Mikaela H. Reyes, artists Chia Amisola and Joshua Serafin, and content creators Abigail Marquez and Ramon Christian “Arshie” Malaga. You can view the full Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list here!
EZ Mil joins 50 Cent as only the second rapper to be signed by both Eminem and Dr. Dre. The hip-hop legends took to Instagram to announce that they have signed the Filipino lyricist to Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. In addition to the announcing the signing, a press statement revealed that EZ Mil and Eminem will release a song together on August 11 titled “Realast.” You can read the full announcement here.
“We’ve never been out there signing a lot of artists, and one of the great things about how we built Shady is how selective we’ve been,” commented Eminem. “And it’s even rarer that Dre and I sign something together – but I heard Ez’s music and was like, ‘this is really special” so I took it to Dre. We both agreed it would be a great fit and we wanted to work with him right on the spot.”
Dr. Dre added, “I’m really only interested in working on shit that sounds different from anything else going on out there, and only then if I feel I can really bring something to it. Em played me Ez and I had that feeling…that thing that happens when we both know we’ve found something special. And that was it….let’s get to work.”
Congratulations to EZ Mil!
The latest music video from Ez Mil, "Up Down (Step and Walk)" is a collaboration between the rapper himself and Creative Director & TRYBE founder Phil Tayag. The song first premiered at the NBA LA Clippers vs. Utah Jazz halftime performance and was well received with millions watching the performance live or online.
The visual art focused on dance and he was excited to work with the award winning choreographer who's also worked with Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, and Paul McCartney. Growing up Ez was a big fan of hip hop and dance, he would spend countless hours studying dance and music videos any chance he could whether at school or in Internet cafes in the Philippines.
Ez watched countless videos of America’s Best Dance Crew, where he first discovered Founding Member and Former CEO/Director of the Jabbawockeez, Phil Tayag, in their memorable performances and interviews that he would go on to teach to his high school classmates.
Getting to work with Phil in his hometown of Sacramento, Ca was an honor to longtime fan Ez Mil. He created a unique “Up Down (Step & Walk)” movement that was showcased in the “one shot take” video that will soon go viral on Tik Tok and Instagram alongside some of the best dancers & choreographers in Sacramento and Northern California, followed by thousands on social media, including Wren Crisologo, Heatgottem, Chonkie (The Smeeze Creator), Koncept and of course SACBxY himself, choreographer, music director and producer Phil Tayag of TRYBE.
