Jacob first shared last year that he's stoked to be No. 1 on the call sheet with his announcement for his next project. The Syfy series Reginald the Vampire was picked up by the NBCUniversal network and is based on the book series, Fat Vampire. The book series follows Reginald Baskin who gets turned into a slow, weak, most out-of-shape vampire by his coworker and tech guy Maurice. The story of an unlikely hero will bleed into the TV series.

Harley Peyton (Twin Peaks, Chucky), who will serve as showrunner, the dramedy imagines a world populated by “beautiful, fit and vain vampires.” Reginald Baskin will have to navigate every kind of obstacle – the girl he loves but can’t be with, a bully manager at work, and the vampire chieftain who wants him dead. He'll discover that he has a few powers of his own to navigate through the "undead life which is just as complicated life itself."

Simu Liu and Saweetie recently made their debut on Saturday Night Live (SNL) with Simu hosting and Saweetie as the musical guest lighting up the stage. Simu's opening monologue went smooth and set it up for a great night of sketches. His natural demeanor and delivery were favored by entertainment critics.

Saweetie took the stage twice, performing with a live band and full choreography. We have to give it up to Saweetie as we continue to see her elevate her artistry in every live performance she's recently had. The slowed down, almost uptempo jazzy opening version of her Tap In performance made for a great change of pace and delivery. Check out her performances below.

Registered nurse Vaughn Mugol sings his heart out in this week's Season 21 premiere of NBC's The Voice. Originally from the Philippines and migrated to Beaumont, Texas, Vaughn is a soulful artist with great technique. His cover of Ed Sheeran's "The A Team" had 3 out of the 4 coaches turn their chairs during Blind Auditions and sweet talk him to joining their team. Ultimately, he joined joined Ariana Grande's team beating out Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. Ariana means business this season.

As part of Team Grande, she looks forward to working with Vaughn and guiding him throughout the competition, selecting songs that best fits his voice, and be the best he could be. This registered nurse isn't used to singing a grand stage like The Voice and only sang to his patients, but now America will see he's made for it. He dedicated his performance to all the healthcare workers battling still at the frontlines.

A "nurse by day, singer by night. Livin' that double life" will now live his musician dream. Like Ariana, we're excited to see how he'll progress in the competition.
