The comedy-drama TV series, Never Have I Ever on Netflix created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher is coming back for a Season 2. It’s set to premier July 2021 with another 10 episodes. It stars Canadian actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan in her first breakout role as Devi Vishwakumar. The series is a coming of age story with the ups and downs of high school. After the passing of her father and a socially horrible freshman year, Devi wants to change her social status. With the her two best friends by her side, they’re ready to take on sophomore year.
In Season 2 Devi continues to deal with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while also navigating new romantic relationships.
There’s also a new addition to the cast. After gushing about the show, the latest news is that Common is casted as Dr. Chris Jackson, a suave and debonair dermatologist who works in Nalini’s (Poorna Jagannathan) building.
