About Jen Deleon:
Jen DeLeon has been doing interviews in the hip-hop industry for over a decade. In every interview, you will be able to watch her ability to make artists feel comfortable to show a different side of them fans rarely get to see. Her work includes: HotNewHipHop, Complex, BET, SkeeTV and Cheddar. After getting her start in the industry with her candid interviews, she was able to expand her work in the industry to host panels and workshops, a creative producer, talent booking for brand partnerships, consulting and is currently the Director of Content for Dash Radio. On top of her work in the music industry, Jen is a motivational speaker in which she creates content on her YouTube & social media platforms, as well as speaking at colleges/universities.
Jen's story proves how hard work and having faith pays off. When she was a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, she told Oprah she wanted to be the next her, just the Filipino version. Oprah’s response was one of the many things that motivates Jen to keep going: “Jen, the next me will be you, just keep doing what you’re doing because someone needs to be that voice.” From there, at only 22-years-old, she decided to move, packed her car and drove to Los Angeles from Chicago with no job, plan, friends or family to follow her passion of being on camera and it ended up being the best decision she ever made as it was the start of her career. If you heard the stories behind all her opportunities, it would seriously give you the chills.
Jen continues to follow her purpose everyday to inspire others through her content to go after their passion and become the best version of themselves through her story, personality, values, transparency and faith in God.
