Hello Stranger is a a popular BL Philippine web series starring Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara. Amidst the lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, two college boys are about to cross paths for a school project. Mico (JC Alcantara), a nerdy college student gets to partner with the star basketball player Xavier (Tony Labrusca). Despite their stark differences, the two boys get to form an unlikely bond that goes beyond friendship through their several online interactions. Directed by Dwein Ruedas Baltazar, HELLO STRANGER: THE MOVIE follows Xavier (Tony Labrusca) and Mico (JC Alcantara), fondly known to fans as ‘XavMi,’ whose innocent love story begins when they are paired for a college project. Their relationship forms during social distanced video chats as they navigate through the challenges of dating during a pandemic.
The film picks up where the original series ends as we find XavMi attending a writing camp with their friends. When new and past love interests bring tension and crazy shenanigans to the camp, their relationship will be shaken to its very core. Will these two star-crossed lovers finally end up together or are they destined to fall apart?
