G. Lonzo and Ryannah J are two rising names in the local Filipino hip-hop and R&B scene. The two join forces on a new collab titled "Dito Ka Lang," which features production from PARADISE RISING alumni Steven Peregrina. On the song, both artists give their take on the complexities of modern relationships; with G. Lonzo discussing being willing to do anything to keep his love interest close and Ryannah J speaking on wanting to give into love despite her trust issues from past heartbreaks and her desire to stay independent. According to G. Lonzo, "Dito Ka Lang" is inspired by not joining his partner on a vacation. Check out the visualizer below!
We have a new collaboration between two of our favorite Filipino artists and its vibe is definitely living up to its title. Jason Dhakal and DENY join forces on "Favorite Song," an R&B track in English and Filipino produced by LUSTBASS. The vibes are immaculate on the track and its release is also accompanied by an intimate visualizer the features both singers performing the song in an earthy foliage and floral setting that adds to the "Favorite Song" ethereal feel. Check out the collab below!
The GRAMMYs released a list of "12 Rising Girl Groups To Know Now" and they acknowledged some familiar female Filipino talent: BINI and UNIS. The illustrious academy had the following to say about BINI: "Amid K-pop's global domination, Filipino pop — commonly known as Pinoy pop, or simply "P-pop" — is becoming one of the fastest-growing music markets. Leading the revolution are the eight women of BINI: Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoannna and Sheena." They also shared the following statement about UNIS: "Leading Korean television network SBS held their own competition series with 2023's "Universe Ticket," which brought together talent across Asia, including Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines and more. Their final lineup, also known as UNIS — short for "U & I Story" — marks some of the first Filipino idols in the K-pop industry." Check out the full list here!
Fresh off both visiting the Philippines for the first time ever and holding her biggest concert ever in the country, Filipino-American pop star Olivia Rodrigo surprised fans with another major announcement. If you weren't able to catch the Guts World Tour at its various stops worldwide, you will have a chance to watch the show exclusively on Netflix starting on October 29. Netflix Philippines first announced the news to Filipinos via X, before Rodrigo confirmed the news as "her last stop" on her Instagram account. We can't wait to watch the concert film and hope that it has footage from our favorite pinsan's first visit to the Philippines!
flu just dropped their debut album "Time & Pace," a sonic offering that gives listeners a glimpse of their musical and personal journey. Known for blending Motown, neo-soul, funk, and disco, flu's introductory full length release follows the band as they navigated new jobs, families, transitions, and more other milestones in their lives—all of which fed into the album's groove.
The band describes creating "Time & Pace" as running a funky uphill marathon. Balancing rhythm, patience,
and purpose, they pushed through challenges like runners hitting "the wall." They learned that the key to
infectious tunes is pacing—move too fast, and you miss the magic; move too slow, and you miss
opportunities to let the groove flow. The album embodies this balance, exploring fresh perspectives while
embracing the changes that shaped their sound overtime. The goal has always been to craft sounds that
felt timeless but still had that modern edge—music that would hit as hard on today’s dance floors as it
would under a disco ball decades ago.
"Time & Pace" by flu is an album divided into two halves—Day and Night—each reflecting different emotional journeys. Check it out below!

Dilaw just dropped a new song and it will definitely get you in your feels! “Yiee” is a common term of endearment in Filipino culture when someone is joking about love and the Baguio-based rock band flipped the popular expression into a new song. This track follows the collective’s July release, “Nilalang.” If you’re ready to feel ‘kilig’ about that special someone, you can check out Dilaw’s “Yiee” below.

In addition to the new track, Ate Icey also released a music video that debuts snippets of “Pretty B**ch Music” and announced a 2025 release date. “Is It The Way” samples Jill Scott’s iconic hit “The Way” and features the Filipino rapper empowering herself with confidence. James Reid’s most recent single “Sandal” has been a favorite amongst both his early and newest fans and now the song has a performance video. The Miko del Rosario and Tristan Ortega directed visuals showcase the singer alongside a vintage white car while he flexes his vocal chops in a raw and stripped-down intimate setting. Reid has been teasing a new project since his Sony Records signing and we all can’t wait for the extended play or full length release! Check out the “Sandal” performance video below!
KZ Tandingan just dropped her first solo song this year! On “Toyo,” the singer/songwriter delivers her take on feeling unsure about moving on. Lyrically, the song draws inspiration from its English translation of “salty,” as it contemplates wanting to move forward while also wanting to answer the phone in case their former fling calls. Check out "Toyo" below!
In additional KZ Tandingan news, she and her partner TJ Monterde just announced a Canada tour in light of their viral collaboration “Palagi.” Learn more about their Canadian shows here and check out the power couple's trending performance below!
