The Long Beach native, Anthony Keyvan stole hearts onscreen as Q on Netflix's newest hit XO, Kitty. If you haven't caught the series yet, it's your time to binge. Q is a star athlete and Kitty's newest friend played by To All the Boys I've Loved Before alumni Anna Cathcart. He's the person she turns to when moving half way across the world gets tough.

Anthony has a Filipino mother and Iranian father where he remembers growing up always around music and food. According to Preview PH, he "raved about his multicultural family, calling the food and music “magical,” and cited karaoke as his family’s go-to pastime." He's also not shy saying that he has the pipes to nail it on karaoke, but he also has the acting bug. Anthony began acting at 8 years old with booking a Disneyland commercial and a guest role on Lost.

His breakout role in Love, Simon as Rahim, a Muslim student who struggles with coming out to his religious family. His character Q is also part of the LGBTQ+ community and we see him grow his relationship with another student, Florian. Anthony also worked with the writers of the series to develop his character and add bits of his personality. Personally, Anthony also is an advocate for mental health and the environment. "I just feel that, as someone with a platform that can reach a lot of people, it’s important to use that influence for good and raise awareness for topics that need attention."

Catch Anthony now on XO, Kitty only on Netflix.

December 15 is almost here! H.E.R. is set to star as Belle on ABC’s “Beauty And The Beast” 30th anniversary special, and the singer is also poised to represent her Filipino-American roots. In one of the costumes for the live-action segment, H.E.R. pays homage to her Filipino roots by wearing a dress that features baybayin.

The way @HERMusicx is honoring her Filipino heritage in her Belle costume. 😍😭🙌🏽

The writing says “Bela” (“Bella”) in baybayin. A pre-colonial script that was almost taken from us, but we are reviving it.

Proud of this Bay Area Pinay and excited to see HER in BATB!

RUN DMC's Rev Run brings us along for a hip-hop reimagining of The Nutcracker ballet set in New York City. It’s the night of the annual New Year’s Eve Block Party and Maria-Clara’s (Caché Melvin) Mom and Pop (Allison Holker Boss and Stephen “tWitch” Boss) aren’t getting along — and it’s bringing her down. Maria-Clara embarks on a holiday adventure to bring her parents back together, finding help along the way from the magical toymaker, Drosselmeyer (Comfort Fedoke), and the Nutcracker (Du-Shant “Fik-shun” Stegall) who she brings to life. Maria-Clara’s journey takes her from the streets of New York to fantasy worlds where she battles with Mice and Toy Soldiers (Viktor White, BDash, Kevin “Konkrete” Davis), and back in time to the Land of Sweets in order to find the key to unlock her holiday wish. Will it be enough to rekindle her parents’ lost love before the clock strikes midnight? Featuring best-in-class dancers Mikhail Baryshnikov, Tiler Peck, KidaTheGreat AKA Kida Burns, the Jabbawockeez as magical snowflakes, and more. The Disney+ Original special “The Hip Hop Nutcracker” is inspired by the live stage phenomenon, created by Jennifer Weber, touring America this holiday season.
