Filipino-American artists Jesse Barrera and Albert Posis are coming together with American songwriter
and producer Greg Shilling for a brand-new single titled “Shampoo.” The track releases November 13
on all platforms along with an official music video.
Barrera (1.5M monthly Spotify listeners) and Posis (850K monthly) have each built major followings in the
Filipino-American music community. Although the two are longtime friends, “Shampoo” is their first
collaboration with Shilling. His growing presence in OPM and Pinoy pop includes work with BINI, BGYO,
Maki, Maymay and more
“Shampoo” blends modern yacht-rock and indie pop into a lighthearted, flirty story about loving someone
so much you want them to move in and leave their shampoo at your place. Smooth guitars, stacked
harmonies and fun energy drive the track, written and produced during their first session together.
With Filipino music continuing to expand on the global stage, the collaboration connects the
Filipino-American community with one of the international producers helping push the sound outward.
The official music video will launch alongside the single.
