If you're wanting to see more AAPI representation on-screen, check out HBO Max's Asian & Pacific Islander Voices Collection, a special curated collection for AAPI Heritage Month. All throughout the month of May, the streaming service looks to highlight AAPI voices through its series, films, documentaries, animations, and shorts. The streaming platform also launchd the Ani-May initiative which celebrates iconic anime moments, fashion, and other shows inspired by this style of animation.

HBO Max doesn't stop there. It also continued the HBO Max Asian Pacific American Visionaries Short Film Competition which showcases the work of emerging filmmakers of Asian and Pacific Islander descent. The top three films premiered at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival earlier this month which was inspired by Asian night markets, according to Diaspora Times. Subscribers can also watch the winning films on the platforms along with previous year's winners NehLonely Blue NightFine ChinaSi, and Unmothered.

Check out the list of all content included in this AAPI representation collection from Diaspora Times.
