Teo Briones is taking the lead in the Syfy Series Reboot of Chucky. Teo, the son of actor Jon Jon Briones plays Junior Webber and finds the doll at a yard sale. According to Deadline, the series begins when a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale. The town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the chaos. Viewers also see Chucky's untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this terrifying doll.

Brad Dourif (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest) will reprise his role as the voice of Chucky, having originated the voice in the original 1988 movie and its six sequels. Jennifer Tilly, who played Tiffany Valentine in the Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky, is also involved in the series.
