The comedy-drama TV series, Never Have I Ever on Netflix created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher is coming back for a Season 2. It's set to premier July 2021 with another 10 episodes. It stars Canadian actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan in her first breakout role as Devi Vishwakumar. The series is a coming of age story with the ups and downs of high school. After the passing of her father and a socially horrible freshman year, Devi wants to change her social status. With the her two best friends by her side, they're ready to take on sophomore year.

In Season 2 Devi continues to deal with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while also navigating new romantic relationships.

After gushing about the show, the latest news is that Common is casted as Dr. Chris Jackson, a suave and debonair dermatologist who works in Nalini's (Poorna Jagannathan) building.
