Debbie Morena adds to her catalog with another R&B banger that will have you in your feels. The song features production from up and coming producer Sopi. "Drunk Instead" draws inspiration from a situation that we can all relate to. We caught up with the vocalist and she shared her thoughts on the personal track's creative process:

"Drunk Instead" is an anthem for the girls who are tired of settling for situationships when they know they deserve something real and committed. The lyrics I wrote are like my own journal of standing up for myself and recognizing my own worth. The song captures the frustration and disappointment of being in a relationship where there's no real commitment — but at the same time, you love the person who hurts you. It's a message for anyone who's been in that situation and decides they're done settling for less than they deserve.
