The latest Disney+ Pixar film, Turning Red has been making its rounds on the streaming platform. The film is a coming of age story that follows an Asian-Canadian teen, Mei Lee who navigates between fitting in and balancing family duties. If that wasn't enough, she discovers she turns into a big red panda when she's filled with too much emotions. In comes the boyband, Jesse, Tae Young, Robaire, Aaron T. and Aaron Z, the boys of 4*Town who gives her so many feelings.
As Mei Lee goes through growing pains, she wants to go to her first concert. She'll have to convince her protective mother to catch the biggest pop group around. The members of 4*Town are voiced by Fil-Am and Filharmonic member Grayson Villanueva, Jordan Fisher, Josh Levi, Topher Ngo, and FINNEAS. If you've seen the movie then you know how catchy their tunes are like "U Know What's Up" and "Nobody Like U" debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 50.
The soundtrack is now available to stream with already 10 million official U.S streams recorded and counting. "Nobody Like U is the first song from a Pixar film to hit the charts.

Disney Pixar's newest film, Turning Red hit the red carpet for its premiere. Fil-Am Grayson Villanueva debuted his character, Tae Young in the film. Now, Grayson lent his vocal skills to the silver screen where he plays one of the members of Pixar's first-ever boyband 4Town. Other members of the boyband include Jordan Fisher, Josh Levi, Topher Ngo, and FINNEAS with songs written by Billie Eilish and FINNEAS. Stream Turning Red on Disney+ starting March 11th!
You might have seen Grayson performing and subbing in for The Filharmonic or more recently with The Filharmonic's new Filipino American collective of singers based in LA, Filosphy in Downtown Disney.
One of the tracks from the film is "Nobody Like U." The pop track is the quintessential boyband track that will have you bopping along to the catchy tune. The lyric video takes you on the ultimate Tiger Beat-journey with posters, cut outs, and Y2K inspired magazine.

With Turning Red focusing on an Asian mother and daughter, he's excited to be part of a project that helps spread representation on screen. However, of course his favorite part is the music which is heavily influenced by the boyband era so it's guaranteed to be a good time.
