The film, Yes Day is Netflix's latest feature on their Representation Matters Collection. It stars Jennifer Garner, Édgar Ramírez, and Jenna Ortega. If you need a carefree movie to watch this weekend, add this one to your list. It follows a family who have their differences, but try to find common ground. Remember as kids how many times our parents told us no? Well in this film, the kids are in charge and the parents have to say yes for a day. It's a film for the whole family that might get scheduling your "Yes Day."

Part of the story is how Katie Torres (Jenna Ortega) will go to a music festival called Fleekfest. Headlining is none other than H.E.R. We see H.E.R. playing herself but also gives us a glimpse of her acting chops. She has a funny scene with Jennifer Garner and Jenna Ortega that goes along with the lightheartedness of the film. Of course, it would be a missed opportunity if H.E.R. didn't show off her vocals. She sang a rendition of the Four Tops' I Need Your Loving. We think she's ready to take on the big screen!

According to EW.com, H.E.R. is looking to go into acting. "I've been so focused on making music but I think it's time now for me to go full throttle with acting...I'm working on that right now, following my passion for acting."
