Kitchie Nadal’s New Ground concert is truly an event of many firsts for the renowned OPM Pinoy rock artist.
Nadal revealed that she is collaborating with Gen Z OPM artists Zild, Skusta Clee, and P-pop group Kaia for the first time in her upcoming Big Dome concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 21, Saturday.
“We’re doing something really out of the box this time, mixing genres and creating moments that are totally unexpected, something fans definitely haven’t seen from me yet,” Nadal stated in a previous press release.
Delving deeper into her upcoming performances, Nadal shared that she rearranged her songs to adapt to digital formats. “The way [the new arrangements] sound, it won’t change. To put it simply, the songs won’t be a sore thumb if there was a playlist,” she added.

In her future releases, Nadal mentioned that her new song “Landas” will be the first time that she has a horn section in her arrangement. She expressed excitement that listeners are now more open to varying genres such as reggae.
“New Ground is all about me exploring a new direction in my music career,” Nadal said. “You can expect fresh music, new collabs, and an even bigger experience than what we shared at the 20th Anniversary concert held last 2024.”
Kitchie Nadal's "New Ground Manila 2025" will take place on June 21, 2025, at the Araneta Coliseum. This iconic event is presented by RG Productions, Black Star Entertainment, and Flow Asia. Tickets are available at all Ticketnet physical branches and online at ticketnet.com.ph

One of the biggest solo female voices of the OPM Pinoy Rock scene, Kitchie Nadal, is ready to enter uncharted territory with her first solo concert titled “New Ground Manila” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 21, Saturday 8:00 PM.
Seeking to grow her younger fanbase, this concert won’t be your typical "Kitchie show."
With her upcoming concert, Nadal decided that this is a chance to not only reconnect with her OG fans, but also a time to try and break New Ground.

“We’ve had such an amazing response at our concerts over the past few years, especially from the younger crowd. Their energy kind of inspired us to put together New Ground,” Nadal said.
Talking about her inspirations, Nadal mentioned that her kids and life in Spain—where she is currently based—drive her to continue writing songs. Currently, she is a mother based in Spain. “Living in Spain has exposed me to a lot more European and Spanish music, some of which expresses current social issues that are really relevant today. Those main things are what inspire and drive me to write songs,” Kitchie elaborated.
Originally the lead vocalist of Mojofly, Nadal became the biggest female OPM solo pop-rock artist, leading the resurgence of the ‘00’s with her self-titled solo album featuring her hit single, “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin”. The album also housed other massive hits such as “Bulong!!!”, “Same Ground” and “Breathe”. The album also debuted at number 4 on the Philippine Albums Chart, and by 2004, became a certified 7× Platinum in the country.

With New Ground as her first headline concert at the Big Domethe Smart Araneta Coliseum, Nadal hopes to set her musical direction in a new course. “You can expect fresh music, new collabs, and an even bigger experience than what we shared at the 20th Anniversary concert held last 2024,” Nadal said.
“It’s my first time headlining at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, so I’m really thrilled! I’m super thankful to everyone who made this happen, and of course to all the people who’ve inspired us to bring this show to life,” she added.
Nadal also expressed her enthusiasm for new collaborations, especially with artists she’s never worked with before. “We’re doing something really out of the box this time, mixing genres and creating moments that are totally unexpected, something fans definitely haven’t seen from me yet.” she added.
