With COVID-19 regulations preventing trick-or-treaters from partying outside, kumu wants its viewers to experience Halloween just the same, albeit in the comfort of their own homes. With the launch of Klub Mumu in the kumu Spotlight (@KumuSocialTV), the livestreaming app’s hosting platform, users can join the virtual party wherever they are in the world. So for this spooky season, the freaky fun festivities continue with kumu’s virtual “Glam and Gore” party.
The live event will happen on October 31st, which will be streamed in a 7-hour, non-stop club experience on the kumu app, which viewers can enjoy through their mobile devices. Sounding off the celebrations are the hottest club DJs in the metro, spinning for the kumunity: Adrian Legarda, Travis Monsod, M.O.D, Buddah Mia Ayesa, Timisky, and Jeriicha. What’s more, guest celebrity MCs and performers will join in on the fun.
Afraid of missing the shows? Don’t worry, kumu's spotlight technology will switch each of the artists’ live streams under one continuous stream. So all you need to do is dance the night away! Pre-party meet-ups will also stream live from across the kumu app, where all the top streamers invite their viewers to join the spookiest celebration of the season. Cross promotions in other social media platforms will also take place through live streams, inviting everyone to join the fun at the Pinoy-lead livestreaming app.
Halloween dressing will be even more fun, too! Just like our work outfits on Zoom calls, you'll only need to get into Halloween character from the waist up. All the more reason to let your creativity shine. Meanwhile, the most creative costumes from the “Glam and Gore” contest will be shown on Klub Mumu, broadcasted to the world--live! Did we also mention special prizes? Because there’s a lot.
Among the top five contestants, the 1st prize awardee will earn 30,000 coins, sponsors package gifts, in-app advertisement and a spotlight Timeslot. The 2nd prize winner will win 20,000 coins, sponsors package gifts, in-app advertisement and a spotlight Timeslot, while the 3rd winner will get 10,000 coins, sponsors package gifts and in-app advertisement.
So get yourselves ready for a night of thrills! Have your drinks ready for an e-numan, and don that costume. At kumu, these freaky fun nights are about to get even more special.
