Jeff Grecia was one of the leading Filipino rappers of 2023, and the rapper dropped new music to celebrate the anniversary of his hit song "Elevate." Not only did Jeff Grecia drop a new song with a new music video, but also doubled down with a second music for a song he released late last year. On the new track "Halik," the Bicol-based MC narrates an all too familiar of missing your significant other when you're in a long distance relationship. On "Malupet," Jeff flexes his confident rap flows while running through the city streets. Check out both music videos below!

Maki has dropped two songs so far this year and recently both of the releases have started to gain major traction on Spotify.  “Saan?” debuted on Spotify Viral 50 and “Bakit?” appeared in the top 100 viral songs in the Philippines. Both songs showcase the Tarsier Records artist’s ability to combine heartbreaking lyrics over heartwarming and happy melodies.

The Music Videos for both "Saan?" and " Bakit?" feature the story of two lovers on their journey of love and loss through moving pictures, symbolisms, and reminiscing. It’s a love story that perfectly captures the bittersweet essence of a lost love. Both videos star Maki and Karina Bautista, with overlapping storylines and themes. You can watch them both below!

Filipino singer-songwriter syd hartha addresses her personal battles in life on "gabay," her debut project under Sony Music Entertainment. In touch with her own fragilities, the rising artist digs deeper into her experiences with trauma, heartbreak, pandemic stress, and healing on an EP that feels more than just a warm balm.

According to syd hartha, gabay is crucial in reclaiming her identity as it helps her confront emotional truths in a way that is freeing and empowering. The folk-pop act explains: "My new EP is a compilation of different stories from my adventures and misadventures as a young woman. It mainly talks about healing and taking control over your own destiny; letting go
of the past, and getting to know yourself again.”

The six-track EP was originally scheduled to be recorded with syd hartha's band and producer in March 2020, but was delayed due to the pandemic. “My band and I were already scheduled for the recording of the whole EP in March 2020,” she explained. “The pandemic happened, and it caused significant disruption to our plans. But everything happens for a reason. It gave me room to explore and grow at my own pace.”

December 15 is almost here! H.E.R. is set to star as Belle on ABC’s “Beauty And The Beast” 30th anniversary special, and the singer is also poised to represent her Filipino-American roots. In one of the costumes for the live-action segment, H.E.R. pays homage to her Filipino roots by wearing a dress that features baybayin.

The way @HERMusicx is honoring her Filipino heritage in her Belle costume. 😍😭🙌🏽

The writing says “Bela” (“Bella”) in baybayin. A pre-colonial script that was almost taken from us, but we are reviving it.

Proud of this Bay Area Pinay and excited to see HER in BATB!
