We love a dope Filipino food festival! In honor of Filipino American History Month, Post HTX in downtown Houston, Texas will be hosting the inaugural FAHM Fest in collaboration with Have a Nice Day HTX, a local pop-up market series known for featuring AAPI small businesses.
James Beard Award Winning Chef, Paul Qui, of Soy Pinoy, East Side King, and more collaborated with Chef Gabriel Medina of Click Virtual Food Hall, winner of CultureMap Tastemaker’s Best Neighborhood Restaurant to curate a showcase that features top chefs paying homage to their favorite renditions of Filipino food.
“This event is for everyone. It’s a way to celebrate our Filipino culture and invite others to the table to do the same,” Chef Gabriel says. “We just wanted to bring the city together to invite them into our community and experience the food that’s so special to us,” Chef Paul shares.
In addition to good vibes and good eats, collaborative FAHM Fest merch will also be sold at the event. Proceeds will benefit Kids’ Meals, a local charity making and delivering free and healthy meals to children around Houston.
