88rising Filipino imprint PARADISE RISING has just released their third installment EP. In honor of Filipino-American History Month, “semilucent 3” introduces fans to Filipino artists who represent different genres and regions from Canada, Australia, and America.

The four track project showcases kristina alcordo (Toronto,) DACEY (Vancouver,) Cabu and Gabby Nacua (Sydney,) and 8rae (Orange County.) The artists, who range from hip-hop, pop, indie, and RnB acts, embody modern Filipino culture and help push forward the identity of today's Filipino sound to a global audience.

“The Philippines and music go hand in hand, and there is such a vibrancy in the way talented young artists are emerging, and such a massive audience in love with music,” 88rising founder Sean Miyashiro said in a statement. “We want to support their voices, help them be heard, and bring music from the Philippines to a global audience.”
