If you're into Marvel and all of its universes, you'd be stoked to hear about Wave's first appearance in Marvel Super War. According to Marvel.com, Pearl Pangan AKA Wave has elemental water powers. Displaying early potential as a swimmer near Mactan Island in Cebu, Philippines, her path to the Olympics was disrupted when a representative from the company AlonTech appeared and tricked her into participating in the company's science experiments.

The company was exposed by the Triumph Division, and Pearl gained her powers when she was drenched in the company lab's experimental substances. Discovering that she now had the ability to control water, she joined Triumph Division as Wave, and now works as part of the Agents of Atlas under Jimmy Woo.

In the online game, Marvel Super War, Wave is voiced by Filipina actor, Ratana who also lent her voice to other shows like Trese, Fire Emblem: Three Houses (2019) , Fire Emblem Heroes (2017) and Dynasty Warriors 9. She grew up singing, loving musicals, theater, cartoons, and dance. After college, Ratana joined the corporate world, but still had a passion in the arts. "During the day, I perfected my analytical skills and by night, I took classes – dancing, acting, improv and voiceover…still loved to perform" She realized that all these seemingly diverse and unrelated activities were perfectly complementary to each other.

Ratana shared how excited she is to be part of the Marvel universe and be the voice of a Filipina superhero. She says, "we are both incredibly proud of our Visayan heritage. I hope you enjoy." With this great news, now we're excited to see it come to life on a big screen. Who would you want casted as Wave? Let us know @myxnews on Twitter!
