ICYMI: Texas-based alt-rock band Culture Wars is joining Maroon 5 on their highly anticipated Asia Tour.

Performing as part of the Manila leg on Jan. 29, the band will also take the stage in Jakarta (Feb. 1), Kuala Lumpur (Feb. 12), and Kaohsiung, Taiwan (Feb. 14). Sharing the spotlight with one of the world’s biggest pop-rock acts marks a major milestone for the fast-rising group.

Comprising Alex Dugan, Caleb Contreras, Dillon Randolph, David Grayson, and Josh Stirm, Culture Wars has been steadily building their reputation in the music scene.

For Culture Wars, this opportunity is a chance to showcase their sound to massive audiences across Asia. Filipino fans, who first got a taste of the band’s performances last October when they opened for LANY, are in for another sonically amazing experience.

The band’s latest single, “It Hurts,” further underscores their readiness for the global stage. Featuring a jangly guitar riff and a driving bassline, the track has been described as both nostalgic and addictive. As part of their upcoming debut album, “It Hurts” exemplifies the polished yet relatable vibe that has become their signature.
