The collaboration transports listeners to the late night summers coasting with friends to the perfect song. Hailee drew inspiration from her California roots with a hint of 70s-inspired sounds. However, she adds her own style by bringing the sound to today with a modern pop arrangement.

Check out the lyric video which just screams beach vibes with the visuals as she sticks to the coastal theme.

If you'd been following Marvel's Phase 4 closely, you'd been binging on movies and shows like us! The latest series that aired was Hawkeye starring Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye/Clint Barton and Fil-Am Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. The tie-in film to the series is Black Widow where Florence Pugh's character Yelena returns in a hunt for Hawkeye.

Yssa Mei Panganiban appears on Episode 5 of Hawkeye and plays another Black Widow. She accompanies Yelena on a rescue mission as they try to save widows who have been brainwashed. It's a quick scene but more than the cool stunts and fights she got to do, Panganiban explains it's the representation on-screen that matters most.

In an interview with The Illuminerdi, she talked about what it was like working with Florence Pugh and where else she'd like to see Sonya pop-in within the Marvel universe. Panganiban votes for Shang-Chi since her widow training would fit right in with the martial arts. We think it's a perfect match!

It [Hawkeye] was actually my first, it was the first project I’d ever booked actually... And to be in for it to be Marvel, it was just so overwhelming. It was really overwhelming because I’ve been in love with Marvel since about 2012.

Marvel has added a lot more diversity in their projects and we're seeing more and more Filipinos on the roster. In the MCU alone, there's Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Mary Rivera as Ned’s Lola, and Ayla Perez as the diplomat/pilot in Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

“Oh, It feels like a blessing, really. I like to say that we’re in a Renaissance right now for, um, AAPI representation, but particularly Filipina representation. I mean, it’s evident in the Marvel universe, the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now. We're really making our way in and to be one of the people that's kind of spearheading that it feels really, really, really good. - Yssa Mei Panganiban

The best gifts during the holiday season usually come with a bow. In this case, a bow and arrow. Before stepping out for the MET Gala, Hailee Steinfeld stepped out as Kate Bishop in the first look of Marvel Studios' Hawkeye. A Disney+ original series following suit of record-breaking shows like WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye is sure to hit its target.

In the trailer, Clint Barton (aka Hawkeye aka Ronin) is on the run and teams up with Kate Bishop just as all of Barton's enemies are in New York to stop him from enjoying a happy Christmas family reunion. Hailee Steinfeld’s new character, Kate Bishop is an eager and talented archer who looks to get some tips from the OG Avenger himself, Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton. Count on an action packed series with sprinkles of comedy... "There are more arrows dangerous than that one?"

The 8-episode series follows Clint training Kate to take over the mantle of Hawkeye. Could this be another hint to the Young Avengers and a larger future for Hailee in the MCU? Hawkeye also stars Florence Pugh (Black Widow) as Yelena Belova who's mission is to track down Clint Barton, laqua Cox as Maya Lopez (aka Echo), a young Deaf woman who can mimic people’s movements, and Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Kate Bishop’s mother.

The MET Gala always brings out star-studded influencers together for a night filled with the most talked about fashion choices. Everyone from A-list celebs to your favorite Filipinx superstars all showed up in their best fits including Saweetie in a Christian Cowan dress with 10 million crystals! Also taking the spotlight were Hailee Steinfeld, Evan Mock, Olivia Rodrigo, Leylah Fernandez, and Leyna Bloom. All we can say is they definitely understood the assignment!

The theme this year, "American Independence" helped celebrate the museum's two-part exhibit kicking off with "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion" and concludes with "In America: An Anthology of Fashion" in 2022. According to Vogue and exhibit organizers, part one will "celebrate The Costume Institute's 75th anniversary and explore a modern vocabulary of American fashion." Check out our favorite looks from the Filipino A-listers below!

Saweetie made her MET debut and wore a custom gown by designer, Christian Cowan that was embedded with 10 million crystals which all came together basically in 24-hours. The dress' cape represented the colors from the Filipino and Black American Heritage flags and which makes her an American girl. During the carpet, she shared the meaning behind it: "my cape represents the Black American heritage flag and the Filipino flag."

See Christian Cowan, the designer himself talk about designing the dress, celebrating Saweetie, and how his hands are still stained from placing the crystals by hand.

Hailee Steinfeld shocked everyone as she almost went unrecognizable for her MET look. The usually brown haired singer and actress tried out a new blonde shorter look. She debuted the Magnetosphere Dress which was designed by Iris Van Herpen and Rogan Brown. According to Vanity Fair the dress takes after "a myriad of relief sculptures, made of hand and laser-cut layers of Parley Ocean Plastic, individually stitched to encircle the bodice, forming one extremely delicate circle of life." Hailee's transformation for this year's Gala definitely hits the mark.

Evan Mock, also a first time Gala attendee showed up incognito with a full leather face mask. The HBO Max Gossip Girl actor who is very familiar with the famous MET steps (*pass the yogurt, please) wore Thom Browne paired with an infamous mask to boot. This event is definitely the time to take some of your best fashion risks. See how Evan got ready for the Gala in this reel!

Olivia Rodrigo who's having the year of her life, made her MET Gala debut. She wore an all black Saint Laurent bodysuit and stayed true to her Gen Z, punk rock style. In an interview, she shared, "I personally love American punk music, and I think Saint Laurent does a really good job of making punk rock feminine. So that's what I was going for tonight." All we can say is "good 4 u," Olivia!

Leylah Fernandez who stole the hearts of many during the U.S. Open also served a look at the MET Gala. The tournament runner-up said her dress was inspired by tennis royalty, Venus and Serena Williams. Part of Gen Z that's taking over, Leylah wore a black-and-white Carolina Herrera that paid tribute to the Williams' 1998 shoot with Vogue. She may have missed prom, but we think the MET Gala is a pretty good replacement.

Leyna Bloom stunned in wearing Atelier Prabal Gurung and Swarovski jewelry. She is winning in this gown and did anyone else catcher her R2D2 embedded accessory?
