Saweetie has been teasing “The Single Life” EP for a while now, and we finally have a chance to listen to the project and it’s giving baddie vibes. The Filipino-American rapper’s newest project is six tracks long and thematically revolves around self-growth and being proud to be single. The Oakland native femcee famously cut ties with Migos rapper Quavo in 2021 and has since been focusing on herself and her music.
“The Single Life” is the Icy Girl’s most personal and vulnerable project to date and features stories about independence and moving on that everyone can relate to. This release has a mixtape feel and is presumably a prequel for her upcoming album “Pretty Bitch Music.” Check out some of our favorite stand out tracks from Saweetie’s “The Single Life” EP below!
Saweetie continues to tease her new album! In collaboration with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, the Filipina-American hosted a party in Hollywood to promote her upcoming project.
“I’ve been waiting for the right moment to speak about The Single Life project and there is no one I’d rather celebrate with than my friends at Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey,” said Saweetie. “From multiple event activations over the years to my own signature Jack Honey cocktails, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey has created the space for me to express myself authentically. It’s been a great partnership with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and I’m excited to share this night with them!
This isn’t the first time that the “Closer” rapper has teased “The Single Life” project. The Icy Girl previously posted an iTunes tracklist hiding the titles of the tracks she’s been working on. Stay tuned for more news on Saweetie!
