One of the most popular music festivals, Coachella was back this past weekend after a 2 year hiatus. A huge lineup was set from Harry Styles, Billie Eillish, and The Weeknd headlining each night. However, Filipino musicians also take the stage like EYEDRESS and beabadoobee performing at the Sonora and Gobi stages. Besides the music, the fashion is one of the most talked about points during the 2-weekend festival and some of your favorite Filipino stars enjoyed the desert vibe while looking chic. Lets take look at some of the outfits worn in Weekend 1.
Vanessa and Stella Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens is the queen of Coachella and her outfits do not disappoint. The wanderlust looks she bought to the festival throughout the years is a staple that isn't going anywhere. This year, the Hudgens sisters dress up in PowerPuff Girls colors in pink, blue, and green.
Nicole Scherzinger brings the animal print pattern to the desert. The outfit screams boho-chic plus it's paired with oversized sunnies and accessories to complement, it's perfect.
Valkyrae keeps it comfy and simple in a two-piece outfit with mesh pants. Whenever at Coachella, you definitely have to keep yourself cool so you can't forget the bucket hat!
Ate Icy brings the color with reds, blues, and gold in her outfit. We're loving the hair and the two-piece outfit designed with a textured pattern.
The E! Entertainment host hangs out at the Revolve Fest and talks to many of the celebrities passing by including Kim K. Erin keeps it cool and flowy with a white ensemble and a cute space bun. This outfit is going to the archive for summer fits!
The Chief Brand Officer for Revolve brings the groovy vibes to the festival. Hosting the Revolve pool party was the place to be with everyone from celebs to influencers popping by for drinks and IG-worthy backdrops.
A Sunday performer, EYEDRESS was in the middle of the action, hanging out in the pit with Jaden Smith. The Filipino artist stuck with the basics in an all-black outfit with brown chest strap.
Twitch host, Jen DeLeon went with a retro look in a halter and skirt combo. Her fit plus the backdrop behind one of the iconic Coachella structure, it didn't miss. She's there to cover all sorts of Coachella content from the sets, looking for the best outfits, best food, and more.
Miss Kay aka Keiffer
Miss Kay slays Coachella in a leather outfit. She blazes through the desert heat with a smile and a dope oversized leather blazer. We need to know where it's from!
Bretman rocks all 3 days in different looks, but our favorite is the princess-inspired look rocking all the shimmers and glitters possible.
Bella keeps it fun and flirty in another retro pattern that's sure to stick out. Her signature long braids adds to the look and can we talk about her leg warmers!
Jay-R and Mica
The couple take to the dessert in a desert appropriate rock and cowgirl themed outfit. Mica rocks a cowboy hat and mixes it with a boho-fringe top with boots for the dusty conditions. Jay-R keeps it rock-n-roll with KISS muscle tee ready to fend away the bright weather.
The Fil-British Coachella performer chose a young and fun mini dress outfit before taking the stage. She kept it chic and simple showing off her body artwork.
Can't wait to see what kind of outfits will be at Weekend 2 of Coachella!

The glitz and glam of the Academy Awards was back with all the big games in film. Vanessa Hudgens brought the energy as a co-host to ABC's Oscars Red Carpet Show interviewing stars as they arrive for the 94th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. She chatted with anyone you can think of from her tick, tick...BOOM! co-star Andrew Garfield to Best Actress nominee Nicole Kidman. Vanessa brought the joy and hype to the pre-show event that got us ready for the big night. Before channeling her hosting persona, she went through rehearsals and was so excited she even called her mom, Gina to show her what she's up to.
Vanessa Hudgens in Michael Kors Spring Collection. She kept it classy in a black, floor length cut-out gown with matching emerald and diamond jewels to complete the look.
H.E.R. shines in a bright green high-low Carolina Herrera dress by Creative Director Wes Gordon. Although red seemed to be the color of the night, H.E.R. pulls off an equally stunning color with her signature shades.
Frederic Aspiras got a shout out from Lady Gaga herself for his Oscar nomination who was "responsible for all the hair artistry for the character Patrizia in House Of Gucci."

Vanessa Hudgens jetted off to Paris Fashion Week to turn more heads after slaying the SAG Awards in her viral Versace Couture moment, making several best-dressed lists. The Actress and co-founder of Caliwater and Know Beauty showed out in France with several looks that she shared with fans and followers on Instagram.
From a purple-laced moment for Valentino to a red cut-out look for the Giambattista Valli show, Vanessa has been making waves online with her great style choices for these events. So which one of these looks is your favorite so far?

Vanessa Hudgens stays busy with her latest film, "Asking For It." The action-thriller is set to release in theaters and on VOD on March 4th via Paramount and Saban Films. The film also stars Kiersey Clemons and Alexandra Shipp.
After a small-town waitress (Clemons) is sexually assaulted on a date, she meets Regina (Shipp) and Beatrice (Hudgens) and is recruited into their vigilante group of badass women. Together they strive to take down a society overpowered by corrupt men and seek the ultimate revenge while getting their own version of justice. Sounds interesting, right? Check out the trailer below and see for yourself.
If you ever wonder where Vanessa Hudgens gets a bubbly personality, she definitely gets it from her mom! Gina Cuangco or Mamma G as she's called can light up a room based on snippets we get from Vanessa's socials. Vanessa shared with Glamour UK that she hopes to one day make a movie about her Filipina mother's immigrant journey.
She also tells the magazine how important it is to tell Mamma G's story. “It’s so important to share all the different stories because America is a massive melting pot, [just like the] world. There are so many different stories that need to be told so that we are exposed to them and can have more empathy towards different people.”
Vanessa encourages her mother to one day write about her life so she can turn it into a movie. Momma G's story is one of a young mother, raising Vanessa and younger sister Stella while navigating through a new country. Vanessa shared, "As an immigrant, coming into the States and not knowing anyone, I can’t even imagine how difficult and challenging that is and what challenges she faced as a woman. And my father was a firefighter, so he was gone for a week and home for a week."
With such a close family dynamic it's no wonder Vanessa wants to share it with everyone. It's a story many of us are familiar with coming from a longline of immigrant history. “I feel like that’s such a relatable story to so many women all over the world. The more that we can share, the more we can lift each other up.” Her main goal when taking on a project is to hopefully lift up others in the process. Our fingers are crossed and hope this all comes to together because we would love to see this!

We'll be seeing a lot of Vanessa Hudgens on the streaming platform soon. She'll co-star in a couple Netflix films, the much-awaited Tick, Tick... Boom! with Andrew Garfield and the upcoming The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star releasing this month! This will be the third and final installment of the rom-com holiday movie franchise. Vanessa Hudgens will reprise her roles as three separate characters — Queen Margaret, Princess Stacy and Margaret's cousin Fiona.
Netflix just released the trailer and it looks like there's going to be a lot of shenanigans happening. The precious Star of Peace jewel goes missing and it's up to this royal family to get it back. Who better to contact than devious cousin Fiona to help in Queen Margaret and Princess Stacy's problem. It really takes a village to carry out Fiona's plan to steal back the jewel as all three of Vanessa Hudgens' characters work together. We also catch the first glimpse of Remy Hii's character (Spider-Man Franchise), who becomes Fiona's associate and "guy in the chair" that has all the gadgets to help.
Netflix previously gave a little insight to the film's plot, "when a priceless relic is stolen, Margaret and Stacy enlist the help of Fiona to retrieve it...and rekindle the sparks of a Christmas romance." Cousin Fiona appears in the second installment in The Princess Switch: Switched Again and had a little more of a mischievous side to her.
According to People.com, "The Princess Switch series follows Stacy De Novo, a baker from Chicago, and Lady Margaret Delacourt, who decide to switch places after their paths cross. The two girls alter their appearances and mannerisms to fool those around them while they temporarily live each other's lives." With the addition of Lady Fiona Pembroke, Vanessa has her hands full. Catch its final chapter on Netflix on November 18!
