VJ Rosales is taking his music in a new direction under the name, VRO. He's a Filipino-American singer-songwriter, musician, performer, and music director known for his performances and vocal arrangements with a cappella icons, The Filharmonic. Now, he's ready to venture on his own as a solo artist with the track, "Red Eye."

"Red Eye" was originally written by a group of writers (including VRO) for a well known-artist but they ultimately decided that this song was meant for VRO instead. Through Red Eye, he was able to find a sense of identity as an up-and-coming solo artist and to represent the LGBTQ/AAPI community in mainstream music.

"Releasing my art and putting it out into the world was a huge goal of mine this year. They aren’t lying when they say process > product sometimes, my #RedEye project was a huge undertaking..."

VRO

A graduate of Jazz Studies, B.M., of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music (CSU Long Beach), VRO is an artist equipped with both the foundational education of music and the natural talent for music, making him easily adaptable, and revolutionary to the pop genre. VRO has performed in over 300 stages and is featured on The Voice, The Late Late Show and Pitch Perfect 2. He is also a Group Director of the A Cappella Academy where he helps train, foster, and inspire young artists.
