Ylona is back with her new single, "Vibin." The mid-tempo track delivers fun and playful lyrics describing the no-pressure feeling of putting a label on a relationship when you first meet someone new, and all you are doing is just vibing out to the experience. Of course, starting new relationships can take some time, but that new discovery stage of getting to know someone and just enjoying their time without the pressures of putting a label on it is described perfectly through this track.

"The track is about meeting someone new and not wanting to feel pressured about defining the relationship-we're just vibing and enjoying every moment as they come."

Ylona mentions that the track is special to her because, sonically and artistically, this is where she wants her music direction to go. If that's the case, we can't wait for more. For now, check out the lyric video to "Vibin" below and stream the song HERE.

The Fil-Aussie artist, Ylona Garcia took on the Big Apple recently and shared she was working on various projects. Now, we get to find out what she was working on. Ylona recorded a live performance similar to other artists like Olivia Rodrigo at the Brooklyn Vevo Studio of her track, "Don't Go Changing" which is also celebrates its 6 month anniversary since its debut.

The R&B and Soul track was released fall of 2021 and explores coping with the changes in a relationship while falling in love. The music video has racked 2.8 million views to date and became part of 88rising's collaborative album, "Head In The Clouds III." The even more stripped down version of the ballad showed Ylona's versatility as an artist who's able to switch gears from upbeat tempo songs like her latest, "Entertain Me" to emotional ballads. For the Vevo performance, she was accompanied by a two-women band handling the guitar and percussions.

February is considered midseason for the NBA season and also the mark of All-Star Weekend. Usually done over a U.S. holiday weekend, the event brings all the brightest stars in basketball and entertainment. The 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend in Cleveland consisted of 3-days full of basketball from the Rising Stars Challenge to the Skills Challenge, and then the All-Star Game. Fil-Ams Jalen Green and Erik Spoelstra participated in events over the weekend while Fil-Aussie Ylona Garcia went behind the scenes. Check out what happened over the weekend for these three Filipinos!

Jalen Green (Houston Rockets)

The Rookie Shooting Guard had a busy weekend participating in the Rising Stars Challenge and Slam Dunk Contest. The Rising Stars Challenged showcase the up and coming young players in the League along with four of the top G-League Ignite players. With Jalen's history with the G-League Ignite, it was nice of the NBA to include them in this new format. Although Jalen's team lost by a point and free throw, he made sure to put up a clinic. He scored 20 points, scoring four 3-pointers, 2 steals, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot. You could also say Jalen was practicing for the Slam Dunk Contest the next day as he put up a massive dunk during the game. Find all the highlights below!

The Slam Dunk Contest didn't go quite as plan, but he got his dunks up. Before one of his dunks, he did give Isaiah Thomas an NFT. See what he did and how it scored.

Erik Spoelstra (Miami Heat):

The Coach for Team Durant made rounds on social media over the weekend not only because he was the the coach for Team Durant, but also because of the family moment he shared on the court. The caption, "Bigger than Basketball" summed up what All-Star Weekend has turned in to.

It was family affair not only for players and coaches' families, but also for the NBA family celebrating the 75th anniversary. The League also has worked towards giving back more to communities during these events. The All-Star game raised $750, 000 for two charities.

Ylona Garcia

The Fil-Aussie singer took us behind the scenes of her time at All-Star Weekend. She sat courtside enjoying the activities while also chatting it up with former Lakers James Worthy and Dallas superstar Dirk Nowitzki back stage. She got some shooting lessons from the one-leg fade away shooter himself and wouldn't we all love to learn from the best. If singing doesn't work out, Ylona could sideline report and be the next Cassidy Hubbarth.

Ylona Garcia is staying busy already. Already dropping a new single this year, she also gifts us with a new music video for "Entertain Me." The Filipino-Australian singer released a pop, sassy tune ahead of the launch for a new Filipino character in the video game, Valorant.

The music video brings us to the future to match the video game's aesthetic. Ylona channels her gammer side and we also catch a little bit of the new character, Neon who's out of this world.

The first character from Southeast Asia, Neon joins the team as Agent 19 who is voiced by Filipino voice actor Vanille Velasquez. "I am unbelievably honored, stoked and PROUD AF to announce that I am the voice of VALORANT Agent 19 NEON! This has been such a dream come true. I'm kind of at a loss right now. This doesn't feel real. I can't believe I'm really saying this right now." - Vanille Velasquez

Two Filipina women team up to create a strong Southeast Asian character in a global video game.

The track and music are fun and playful with a beat that has us dancing along. It's a different tempo from her last single, "Don't Go Changing," but just as catchy. What's not entertaining about playing your cards close in a relationship. Ylona hooks us in with this one.
