To save money for Sol’s heart transplant, Leah decides to work in Dubai. She leaves without telling Clark and the move takes a toll on their marriage.
Leah returns to Manila for her father’s operation. She decides to go back to Dubai even if Clark doesn’t want her to. He makes her choose between love or her career. They break up, move on but then both end up in San Francisco again.
Leah ends up being Clark’s ad agent for his new furniture line. The two rekindle the flame on an immersion trip in Lake Tahoe until Simon shows up.
Leah realizes the love’s still there and decides to win Clark back one last time, but he’s on his way to Paris. Does true love really come back?
