It’s been a long two years, but Nadine Lustre is back with new music! In collaboration with Wild Entertainment,  Nadine has released a new song titled “Overgrown.” The track, which serves as an anthem as the Filipino megastar is approaching her thirties, is appropriately titled as it reflects on her new lifestyle. Nadine has been living a more low-key life recently away from the spotlight in Siargao.

On “Overgrown,” Nadine’s sense of brand new being and soul searching is represented metaphorically as she experiments with new sonics throughout the track. On the track, you can hear elements of beach-inspired, drill, and jersey club sounds. Check out the song below!

The director of Philippines' widely talked about films, Birdshot and Dead Kids, Mikhail Red has his next project lined up. The techno-horror film, Deleter borders the thriller genre with the script created by younger brother Nikolas Red. Nadine Lustre is set to star in the lead role with Louise delos Reyes and Mccoy Deleon also joining the cast. If you're a fan of his previous films, this may be your next favorite.

According to Variety, "the story involves an online content moderator who deletes a suicide video made by her co-worker. But the otherwise desensitized woman cannot escape from either her own troubled past or from a mysterious vengeful presence." Content moderation is apparently a hub for social media moderation due to "good English-speaking skills and low-cost labor." With that, moderators sometimes can't unsee what they've seen and they carry that experience with them which can lead to trauma.

Mikhail tells the magazine, "this genre film attempts to unlock the dark secrets and consequences of their world, especially in a world where the truth is filtered and distortion is prevalent." Production of the film starts in August and is expected to go through September with the hope of premiering Deleter at key film festivals at the end of the year.

Nadine is learning how to flow with life with no fear. She is one of the stars for the various covers of Mega Magazine's 30th anniversary issue. Her issue explores the island life she's been living in Siargao, her new mindset, and new found freedom. Check out a snippet of Nadine's feature here!

Moving to Siargao during the pandemic was a huge move for Nadine. The change of pace to island life was a manifestation in the making. Her life coach reminded Nadine of a talk they had about where she saw herself in a year. Nadine wrote down, "my answer was somewhere close to the beach and the mountains the ocean and the mountains." Although she loves the city, Nadine is drawn to the beach and mountains. After Typhoon Odette, she made the travel back to Siargao to help those affected. Nadine conducted her own relief efforts to help clean up a town, build solar stations, and gather supplies for the locals. She has grown to not only embrace the island but also the way of life.

With a busy schedule as an actor and artist, life moved fast."When I moved to Siargao, that’s the really the time when I got to pause my fast life and just enjoy myself. It’s really different. It’s weird, you really pick up the energy of the place. I noticed that when Im in Siargao, I was really slowing myself down and I was just taking my time. I loved it—I got to savor my life even more.” Nadine needed to hit that restart button and center herself back to where she feels most herself. We can't wait to see what she does next in her fresh new perspective.

Super Typhoon Rai, known as Odette, left parts of the Philippines to pieces, leaving people in desperate need of basic necessities like power, food, and water. The devastation caused by the typhoon hit some of the most vulnerable areas of the Philippines like Bohol, Siargao, and Cebu.

Actress and artist, Nadine Lustre returned to the island of Siargao to help set up solar panels for locals to charge gadgets like phones, LED lights, and other appliances. Currently, there's still no power on the island and locals have been helping each other rebuild their community.

Nadine recently has been splitting her time between Manila and Siargao and although she was in Manila during the typhoon, she made her way back to help in providing relief. With no timeline yet when electricity will be available for the island, every little bit helps.

MYX has set up a Twitch DJ charity fundraiser on 12/28 and 12/29 to raise funds for ABS-CBN Foundation International to support the victims in the Philippines, you can donate directly here on Tiltify for "Operation Odette" to their efforts in providing food, shelter, health items and more. Stay tuned for more info on the fundraiser along with an announcement for the line up.

Upcoming for Nadine is a new film under Viva Max, Greed. She shows off her acting depth with this darker role in this thriller film with Diego Loyzaga. Check out the teaser below!

We are gearing up for cuffing season, but we weren't prepared for Nadine's latest song, "Wait For Me." The slow, solemn pop track was released just in time for her 28th birthday and it touches on the bittersweetness that comes with moving on. It’s a heartfelt ballad wrapped in both melancholy and hope — an expression of gratitude and lamentation of letting go. Check out the music video below.

The lyrics describe the difficulty of wanting to hold on, but the best thing, for now, is to let go. Her lyrics are so vivid that it jumps out of the song and paints a picture for listeners. Can you imagine Nadine performing this live, we'll be the first to line up. Take a closer look at these lyrics in her lyric video below.

'Before it all goes up in smoke
Love me hard and let me go
Good things can fall apart
I don’t mean mean to break break your heart
'

We were not prepared to be all up in our feels, Ms. Nadine! Don't mind us, we'll just have the song on repeat and get all emo along with everyone else. Stream "Wait For Me" here.

After the release of his first track of the year, "Stay with Me," Massiah is already back with his second single. "Paid For It" is sonically opposite of the R&B track "Stay with Me" as it's an alt-rap track layered with trap elements, flamenco-inspired guitar samples, and an entrancingly rhythmic drum pattern. To add to the release of the track, Massiah gives us another self-directed visualizer, which was shot in his hometown of Dumaguete City in the Philippines. Check out the new track and listen on all platforms.

Massiah describes the song as an "inspiration for listeners to take up the mantle as a lone wolf and forget their own path, leaping towards an endless finish line." The lyrics dive in and depict the moment you let all your inhibitions go and sacrifice yourself to the whim of your destiny. You definitely see this in the visualizer as people zip through the city on longboards living. They're just letting go, feeling free to follow their destiny.

"Paid for It mimics the "Stay With Me" music video which highlights his life growing up in Dumaguete. It takes viewers on an afternoon with Massiah and his friends longboarding near his hometown in the forest-filled streets of Valencia.

In addition to new music by Massiah, Careless Music released 2 remixed tracks to the collab between Nadine and Massiah for "White Rabbit." It's another project they worked on with the label, After The Noon Records. The song was remixed by producer LUZE, the multi-disciplinary creative with a pursuit for the moody and easy-going while After the Noon CEO Arthur Tan created Flight Like This remix with Massiah. The label recently also remixed another track form the Wildest Dreams album, "Intoxicated."

His latest track, "Stay With Me," is a groovy R&B number that is an ode to the final moments of a lover's departure, reflecting on the heartfelt promises a couple give themselves before they say their goodbyes. Massiah is a lyricist who carefully crafts a story with his words. The song is raw and clever, a signature of Massiah’s style that compliments the rich and groovy melodies of the song.

To pair the track with visuals, a music video tells a narrative that is perfectly synonymous with the lyrics. It presents Massiah in a secluded beach resort, enjoying the beauty of nature with a lover. The picturesque scenes were shot on location in Massiah’s hometown of Dumaguete City, which is his nod to the place he calls his home. It has all of us wishing we were there.

After releasing the "Intoxicated (Authur Tan Remix)," Nadine keeps on giving with a remix EP Wildest Dreams (1z Co. Remixes). The EP consists of two tracks "Ivory" and "Complicated Love." She collaborates with azel north and MANILA GREY for the project and even drops lyric videos to go along with both tracks.

The remix EP starts off with "Ivory (azel north Remix)", an up-tempo adaptation of the original track that features MANILA GREY opening with their hard-hitting verse. The song blends Nadine’s sultry electro-pop vocals and the duo’s energetic tempo, creating a track that is catchy yet true to the fragmented, haze-like melody of the original.

The second track, "Complicated Love (azel north Remix)", is a duet by Nadine and James Reid and leans more towards a narration that discusses the darker side of a complicated relationship. azel north puts his spin into this track, resulting in a livelier version of the earlier melancholic number. Nadine Lustre rose to fame as an actress, but more recently turned her focus on music after joining the Careless Music roster in 2019. She eventually broke ground with the release of her studio debut last year, which came with a visual album that was touted as the first of its kind in the Philippines

Need to hear more from Nadine? Check out "Intoxicated (Arthur Tan Remix)" which is an up-tempo adaptation of the fourth track also from her album Wildest Dreams. The remix came about as two groundbreaking music labels, After The Noon Records and Careless Music, break new ground together as they formalize their partnership with this release.

Created by After The Noon CEO and artist Arthur Tan, the remix takes Nadine’s smooth and soulful original, and turns it into a deep house track that invites people everywhere to dance. Layering vibrant percussions and playful keys over Nadine’s sultry vocals, and tying it together with a catchy bass progression, the remix stays true to the original song’s dreamy, thrill-seeking spirit, while giving it a fresh feel.

In March 2021, Arthur launched After The Noon Records, a label that showcases the artistry and craft of DJs and producers. With the release of INTOXICATED (ARTHUR TAN REMIX), and the collaboration with Careless Music, listeners can only expect more exciting drops from this gamechanger.

Soliven says about the group’s inception that, “We’re both originally from Manila. The ‘grey’ is Vancouver; it’s always rainy out here, but that’s where we create our music.
